Sneak preview of Ariadne's new user interface
We're working on a new user interface for Ariadne, based on the Yahoo User Interface library (YUI). It's not finished yet, but we couldn't resist to show you a sneak preview of it. You can install the alpha version yourself through svn.
The new user interface is much cleaner. It is all HTML 4 Strict and degrades gracefully. We've even tested it under Lynx (a text-mode webbrowser). With a modern browser you get all kinds of ajax goodness.

The new Ariadne installer makes installation a breeze. No more need to edit complex configuration files.

The new main explorer screen is based on the old XP look.

The grants dialog is completely revamped. It gives you more information about where grants are defined (left column) and what grants are in effect (right column).

Setting complex grants can now be done without typing arcane command strings.
You can try the new user interface for yourself if you have SVN set up, see the download page for more information.
