Big thanks go out for everyone attending. If you were not there this time, make sure you catch the next meeting - it promises to be bigger, better and just as much fun! As it looks now, it will be held in the second or third week of november.
Unfortunately, not as much 'hands-on' work got done as we intended in the beginning. However, we have decided on which tools we will be setting up for Ariadne:
- The old tools will be completely scratched and replaced with the new tools.
- A discussion mailing list (developers@ariadne-cms.org) which will be moderated by Gijsbert te Riet and Gerhard Hoogterp.
- A webbased forum (forum.ariadne-cms.org) which will be moderated and maintained by Wouter Commandeur and Yvo Brevoort.
- Announcements and news on the Ariadne CMS website. More outgoing channels are planned for this (RSS, Twitter - give us input on this! Even better, help us set it up!)
We also took a bit of time to show off the revamped Ariadne interface. The new installer makes Ariadne installation a breeze, the grants dialog has been demistified and does not require arcane commands anymore to set up complex grants. Those of you who are fluent in arcane, don't worry - we've also put in a place where they still understand you.
